Product Overview

Hangbo Alloy Group manufactures precision nickel alloy strips using advanced Sendzimir 20-high cold rolling mills. Our strips achieve exceptional dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and edge condition, meeting the stringent requirements of electronics, aerospace, and medical device industries. Each coil is produced with controlled rolling parameters and intermediate annealing to maintain uniform mechanical properties throughout the length.

We offer strips in thicknesses from 0.02 mm foil to 3.0 mm strip, with precision slit edges for consistent width tolerance. Strips are supplied in coil form or cut-to-length pieces, with optional surface treatments including bright annealing, degreasing, and passivation.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum thickness for precision strips?

We can produce strips as thin as 0.02 mm (20 microns) for specialized applications such as battery foils and EMI shielding. Standard thin-gauge production starts at 0.05 mm. For foils below 0.05 mm, minimum order quantities and lead times may vary.

What thickness tolerance can you achieve?

For cold-rolled strips under 0.5 mm thick, we achieve thickness tolerance of ±0.005 mm. For strips 0.5-3.0 mm, tolerance is ±0.01 mm. Width tolerance for slit strips is ±0.1 mm standard or ±0.05 mm for precision-slit applications.

Can you supply strips with specific temper conditions?

Yes. We supply strips in various tempers: annealed (soft), 1/4 hard, 1/2 hard, 3/4 hard, full hard, and spring temper. The appropriate temper is selected based on the application requirements for strength, ductility, and formability. Spring temper strips are commonly supplied for Inconel X-750 and Monel K-500.

Do you provide strips with surface treatments?

Yes. We offer bright annealed, matt, polished, and brushed surface finishes. Additional treatments include degreasing, passivation, electropolishing, and tin plating for electronic applications. Custom surface roughness (Ra) can be specified.
