Product Overview

Hangbo Alloy Group produces seamless nickel alloy tubes using hot extrusion and cold pilgering processes. Our tubes are engineered for applications requiring exceptional resistance to corrosion, high-temperature oxidation, and thermal fatigue. Each tube is seamless — produced from a solid billet without any longitudinal weld — ensuring uniform wall thickness and superior pressure-bearing capability.

We supply tubes in solution-annealed condition with controlled grain size for optimal corrosion resistance. All tubes are hydrostatically tested to verify structural integrity and leak-tightness. Eddy current and ultrasonic testing are available for critical applications.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between seamless and welded tubes?

Seamless tubes are extruded from a solid billet with no longitudinal weld seam, providing uniform strength and superior pressure resistance. Welded tubes are formed from strip and welded along the length. Seamless tubes are preferred for high-pressure, high-temperature, and critical corrosion service where weld integrity is a concern.

Can you supply U-bend tubes for heat exchangers?

Yes. We manufacture U-bend tubes with custom bend radii for shell-and-tube heat exchanger applications. The minimum bend radius is typically 1.5 times the tube OD. U-bend tubes are stress-relieved after forming to minimize residual stresses.

What testing is performed on seamless tubes?

Every tube undergoes hydrostatic testing at 100% of the specified pressure. Additionally, we offer eddy current testing (per ASTM E426), ultrasonic testing (per ASTM E213), and pneumatic testing. Dimensional verification, visual inspection, and surface finish checks are performed on 100% of production.

Do you supply tubes with special end preparations?

Yes. We can supply plain ends, beveled ends for welding (per ASME B16.25), threaded ends (NPT or BSP), and grooved ends for mechanical coupling. Custom end caps and protectors are also available for shipping protection.
